PEACOCK + LEWIS has been providing architecture and interior design services to communities, organizations, business owners, governments and individuals since 1961. Our projects have included custom homes, country clubs, churches, school campuses, hospitals, commercial buildings, public gathering spaces, parks, retail buildings and apartment complexes. We are dedicated to creating cost effective, innovative design solutions for each and every one of our projects, taking into account the unique requirements of the client.

Since our first commission in 1961, changes in building technology as well as the way we live, work and play have been ever changing. These changes compel us to continually look for ways to deliver winning designs that incorporate state-of-the-art technology and the ability to adapt to emerging trends. PEACOCK + LEWIS is in a unique position to put more than 50 years of broad based experience teamed with the latest in design technology in each of our projects.

Brian D. Idle, AIA
Brian Idle, AIA, President, serves as the Director of Hospitality Design.  Mr. Idle holds both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois. He has an enviable reputation in design and management of complex projects requiring coordination of many specialty consultants and government agency approvals. His specialty is the programming and initial master planning of new facilities for new golf course communities and for major remodelings or replacement clubhouses for member owned clubs.  Being an avid golfer, Mr. Idle has taken a special interest in the planning and design of golf club facilities that are functional, attractive, unique and memorable in the golf and social experiences for both members and their guests. "Much like playing the game of golf, designing great clubhouses requires developing consistency, paying attention to small details, and continually striving to improve" according to Mr. Idle. His passion for the game of golf, with its rich history and beautiful historic venues, has inspired Mr. Idle in leading the Peacock + Lewis team's creation of many notable clubhouses.  With close to three decades of architectural experience and a vast understanding of the unique operational nuances of clubs, Mr. Idle serves as a guest lecturer on clubhouse design and renovation for the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), and has authored a chapter on Clubhouse Master Planning for the National Golf Foundation's Managers' Handbook and articles on club design for multiple trade publications.
