The Beach Club
The heritage of The Beach Club dates back to 1941 when Jack Mitchell, a well known resort, prominently identified with Palm Beach Club life, built the Coral Beach Club on this site. The original structure was designed by John Volk. Overlooking the ocean, The Clubhouse featured an enormous swimming pool and private cabanas on three sides.
In 2004 Peacock + Lewis created a comprehensive long term master plan for the entire club owned amenities including the 70,000 clubhouse, pool deck, croquet, and tennis courts and parking. Phase I, which consisted of a remodeled arrival and lower level food and beverage venues was voted on and implemented during the summer and fall of 2005. Phase II, improvements to the pool, pool deck, tiki bar outdoor dining and fitness amenities are currently being evaluated.
