"Together we are building a more beautiful future"

Dear Brian,

Thanksgiving is always a time to reflect and be thankful for our many wonderful blessings and this year, more than any other since we began our mission, Els for Autism has a great deal to be thankful for. On March 10th we were able to break ground for The Els Center of Excellence; a major milestone for the Foundation and one that we would not have reached without the collectivesupport of our sponsors, donors and friends. Whether you have donated $1 or $100,000 you have been, and continue to be, a crucial building block in helping us create a game-changing resource in the field of autism.

Construction of the first components of the Center - the Lower School and the Auditorium/Center of Excellence building, that will be at the heart of our global outreach programs, is progressing well. With approximately 50% of the construction work now complete, we are on target to welcome our first students into the new school in August next year. The roof on the Lower School is 90% complete and the windows and doors will be installed in the coming weeks to close in the building. The second floor of the auditorium has been poured allowing us to move forward with the second floor walls to ready for the placement of the roof trusses. The underground utilities to serve the Center are now all in place, including water, sewer, drainage, power and telecommunications.

Once complete, this world-class Center is going to make a

real difference to the lives of so many; not only to the individuals impacted by autism, but their families, friends

and the professionals that work with them throughout the world. Our focus now is to keep the momentum and ensure a continuous build schedule for the remaining components of our vision; with our next goal to procure the funds to start work on the Upper School and the sports facilities.

In the meantime, we remain thankful for our extended family of supporters throughout the country and indeed across the globe who continue to walk beside us on our journey to create a more beautiful future for people with autism. Without you the progress we are making would simply not be possible.

Wishing you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving!
