Quail Valley at the Pointe

Our team of architects and designers developed the site to include club members and guest lodging. outdoor dining, a dockside restaurant and an upper level bar. The owner has a passion for everything hunting enjoying outdoors, gunsmithing, natural landscape, waterfowl and hunting dogs. Food is prepared in a country style farm to table. The theme was incorporated into materials and finishes at the entry, vertical circulation, dining areas and restrooms.

Bonita Bay Club Spa/Fitness Center

The building was a nearly empty and failing 60,000 square foot, three story Medical Office Building adjacent to the Client’s property. The Client, with the assistance of our evaluation team, determined it had potential and bought the building. With the creative use of forms, textures, natural materials and illumination, a typical dated, mundane and depressing medical office building lobby was transformed into an uplifting, high-energy and exciting atrium space with sophisticated millwork, artwork and furnishings.

Inspired by the lush watercolors of the Gulf Ocean, the Pool Café offers open and under air-seating. Diners choose between lakeside views or the stunning resort style pool. The restaurant combines elements for casual dining with double sided fireplaces, rainfall water features, wood burning pizza oven, and oval bar that extends from inside to out.

Tropical Oasis has been found as guests enjoy soft seating under the expansive pergola draped with flowing fabrics that create a relaxing environment for diners and sunbathers alike. The resort-style pool and waterfall are the gem of the community. Fire pits, lounge seating, and personal grilling stations complete the experience.

Merit Award in New Commercial Work (SW Florida)

Bonita Bay Club

A unique and custom luminaire was designed specific to an existing space to create a sculptural wow factor and focal point for this private country club communities’ night time bar/lounge venue. The space previously housed the bar which was redesigned in a different location to allow additional dining seating capacity in the space. This space now opens for a full dining experience, presented the perfect setting for a feature sculpture emitting artificial illumination. Located in a 32 ft. clerestory space, the fixture was designed to be 5ft in diameter by 10ft tall.

The existing 60,000 square foot oceanfront clubhouse has (3) distinct ocean front Restaurants; The Ocean Room, Terrace Grille and The Beach Club. The new palate of finishes and colors reference the beach, ocean, landscaping a blue sky as viewed from the venues. The restaurant spaces were divided into a variety of intimately scaled spaces utilizing custom banquettes, edge lit acrylic panels, movable millwork and glass panels. The radiused shaped ceiling in the ocean room redesigned with millwork ribs and battens referencing sea faring pleasure craft.

A new 27 acre non-profit ESE (Exceptional Student Education) School includes a Research Program, Medical and Professional Services, Lower School Building and an Auditorium and Foundation Administrative Office Building. International and local visitors enter the Auditorium Lobby featuring a painted and stained 2 story Grand Stair. The Auditorium resides behind the Grand Stair and is designed for performances and teaching and research seminars.

The Breakers Spa

The $8 million 17,200sf spa renovation and expansion features 17 treatment rooms, including a signature couple’s suite, expanded retail and lounging space, private courtyard and expanded full service salon. Originally built in 1998, the floor plan was completely reconfigured to enhance the guest experience and better facilitate efficient staff movement for today’s spa experience.

Talis Park Clubhouse

The developer brought the project out of receivership in 2011. The construction documents and a half-built shell of the abandoned clubhouse was evaluated by the design team and Client to determine what could be salvaged. The decision was made to raze the structure and start fresh with a new concept for a clubhouse to be consistent with the new lifestyle being projected by the developer for this community.

With a European flair, Phase I of a two phase clubhouse amenity complex was designed adjacent to an existing elliptical shape paver drive surrounding the "Village Green" where residents gather for outdoor movies, performances, events and tented presentations. Known as "The Shoppes," Phase I features a fitness center, spa and boutique street side cafe' which are accessed from small vias and plazas providing a sense of discovery and pedestrian scale to the village.

Sailfish Point Fitness Center

The new Fitness/Tennis Shop Building is located west of the aquatics complex and east of the tennis courts overlooking the Atlantic Ocean to enhance the causal lifestyle amenity offerings. The upper level of the new building connects back to the existing clubhouse for convenience with access to the existing Beach Club and new Card Rooms suite. The new building was designed with the same exterior materials and forms too blend nicely with the existing clubhouse buildings.

Planned for two years, the project involved closing the club's nearly 30-year old clubhouse for eight months and spending $11.5 million to deliver a new look, more functional layout and fresh amenities that can all help attract new members to the property.

The office was designed to capture the executive's high energy, love for art work and European design style. The leadership qualities of the general manager were the main criteria for choosing the design elements. Reclaimed wood hardwood flooring, elements selected to reflect the executive's unique style and energy. The office is designed as a beautiful frame to showcase the colorful oversize canvas artwork thorough the space.

Broken Sound Club Aquatics & Bistro

The Bistro Building was designed to offer members more casual dining in a relaxing and tropical poolside environment. The unique blue glass bar top is illuminated with LED lighting creating and intriguing focus for the space while making reference to adjacent pools. A display kitchen was designed to create a full menu of causal cuisine options. Dining at the Pool Bistro features a soaring 35' heavy timber ceiling over an outdoor bar which is clad with iridescent blue title and with a radius cut glass bar top.

Grey Oaks Country Club

The interior design was inspired by the oak canopy over the winding drive from the entry thru the golf course to the clubhouse and the beauty of natural Florida landscaping along the way. Phase I renovation to the existing locker room wing included enhancing the Locker Entry and Gallery. The Gallery was designed with high ceilings and large windows offering abundant natural light.

The Ocean Reef Club

The 32,000 sqft Spa, Salon & Fitness Center addition and renovation takes its inspiration from the seaside community where it resides. It's rich yachting history influenced our design aesthetic. Located in a setting filled with wildlife and surrounded by unspoiled natural estuaries, the color palette and artwork share this vision. The photographs of indigenous trees, birds and mangroves punctuate the interior.

Clubhouse of the Year

Lost Tree Club Clubhouse

On April 30, 2010, the membership of the Lost Tree Club voted with a 82% approval to replace their existing Clubhouse with a new facility on the same site. Conceived in "Island Classical" vernacular, the new building is designed with a main floor elevated seven feet above the original building to capture the best views of the golf course out of the dining venues. A variety of dining options are provided.

Peacock + Lewis and the Ginn Company worked together on a number of projects at Tesoro Club in Port St. Lucie. The Two Story office building designed in the Mediterranean style was built just as the Ginn Development Company was breaking ground on the Tesoro Club Community. Named Tesoro Discovery Center, the office building was designed.
