Office Manager

Peacock + Lewis is actively searching for a highly skilled and personable office manager to join our growing team at our North Palm Beach office. In this pivotal role, the selected candidate will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization and oversee the general administrative function and activities of the office.


  • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments.
  • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
  • Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
  • Performs clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents.
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
  • Schedules and attends meetings as needed, taking notes, and recording minutes.
  • Receives incoming communication or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviews contents, determines importance, and summarizes and/or distributes contents to appropriate staff.
  • Performs or facilitates maintenance of office equipment including cleaning, maintenance, ordering, and repairs.
  • Maintains inventory of office supplies; orders new supplies as needed.
  • Maintains office files; implements an efficient system for other staff to access files and records.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in office administration or related field preferred.
  • At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.
