The new clubhouse was sited and designed to be built in phases so a portion of the existing clubhouse could remain and provide member services during the construction period. The entire lower level of the new clubhouse, which opened for member use prior to the main level, is now dedicated to all of the golf operations with the golf shop, locker rooms, and “The Inn Between” overlooking the practice facilities and golf course. The cart barn, bag storage, merchandise storage, F&B storage, employee cafeteria, maintenance shops, and main receiving all were located adjacent to the oversized receiving yard, which is totally screened from members’ view.

The upper level features a large open terrace with panoramic views to the golf course; a large “Pub Room” offering members indoor and outdoor dining with views to the three finishing holes; a dining room that can be divided into three smaller dining/meeting rooms all with views to the golf course; a central gallery illuminated with a clerestory tower providing access from the main lobby/reception to the dining rooms and Pub at the opposite end of the clubhouse.

A large grand stair was located outside of the Pub, providing member and guest traffic from the lower level at the terminus of the memorabilia gallery access to the Pub without crossing special event traffic in the main gallery and dining rooms. The main kitchen was located and designed to serve all venues with simultaneous events being held. Administrative offices align over the BOH functions below, overlooking the expansive service yard with views to a lake beyond.
