Shadow Wood Country Club

The indoor-outdoor project converted an existing outdoor lounge area with 36 seats, into a 260-seat dining space surrounding a 21-seat octangular bar. The new indoor-outdoor dining area is adjacent to the club’s existing dining room and grill room and connected through a series of folding glass door system for easy access, flexibility, and temperature control. The area’s environment is enhanced with air conditioning, warm dimmable lighting, speakers, fans, and ceiling-mounted infrared heaters.

The centrally located large “Eat At” Gathering Bar provides members and their guests the desired indoor-outdoor casual dining experience. The proximity of the Existing Fire Pit from the New Bar and Piazza Dining provides for a nice cocktail space before and after dinner while enjoying colorful sunsets or the warmth of the fire. All existing and new added areas are fully accessible and ADA compliant.

New, more efficient wind/rain/bug/sunscreens located at the new expanded perimeter between columns will provide for a more enjoyable indoor-outdoor dining experience.  The timber joist with tongue and groove ceiling structure with ceiling fans and recessed can lights will add to the all-weather flexibility usage of the outdoor dining venue.
