The Beach Club – Aquatics Complex & Oceanside Bar

The Beach Club, a private by-invitation only club with first class views of the Atlantic Ocean, has the following comments on how this new amenity has improved member satisfaction and increased revenues on property:

Interest in membership continues to be strong with a steady flow of qualified nominees applying.

With the pool being our most valuable asset and the showcase of our facility, members are extremely satisfied and impressed with the finished product. Those members that had previously objected to the change from Old Palm Beach traditional to a first-class amenity, have expressed their satisfaction and have commented that the area more-than-exceeds their expectations while maintaining the classic Palm Beach trademark. Both, new members and members with longevity are proud to entertain and show off their club. To our members, their club is an extension of their home for entertaining.

In 2016 the Initiation Fees to join the Club were increased $15,000 in anticipation of the opening of the pool in 2017. Although the Club historically has no present wait list, discussion has taken place at the Board level to make that change. Additional alfresco evenings have been introduced to offer more dining options to this property known as “the best piece of real estate on Palm Beach”. Several events previously held in the clubhouse have taken advantage of the outdoor paradise which has proved to increase attendance therefore increasing F&B revenue.

It is the consensus that the renovation of the pool and surroundings, along with on-going improvements to the facility, has put our club on the map, being recognized as one of the finest private clubs on Palm Beach.
