Raed is a global citizen and an interdisciplinary designer with over 15 years of experience designing services, products, and spaces. With a strong foundation in architecture, Raed had dedicated a significant portion of is career to working on hospitality interiors across Jordan, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia, collaborating with renowned operators and owning companies before relocating to the United States in 2021. His expertise lies in facilitating the creation of synergies between exceptional design and transformative experiences.
Prior Experience
With a proven track record, Raed has held notable positions throughout his career. Before joining P+L as a Senior Interior Designer, Raed served as the Managing Director of IDS (Interior Design Studio Ltd.) for two years, following a successful five-year tenure as the Director of Operations and Strategy within the same organization. Additionally, Raed demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit by founding Interior PH Magazine in 2012, alongside Blueprints House of Design.
Today, Raed is deeply passionate about harnessing the power of design as both a service and a process. He thrives on understanding people in diverse contexts, uncovering their unmet needs and desires, and ultimately delivering fresh and extraordinary experiences.
Certifications & Recognitions
Raed gained his BS in Architecture from the University of Jordan, complemented by a semester of research abroad in Rome, Italy. He furthered his education by earning a Master of Science in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons in New York. During this time, Raed engaged in tackling multiple business challenges for prestigious organizations such as NASA, Canadian Tire, Knotel, and others.
Personal Life
Raed’s philosophy in life is grounded in the power of collaboration and open-mindedness, valuing diverse perspectives and the collective wisdom of a team. Embracing the role of a dedicated family man, Raed finds joy in the personal realm of his life, as he shares it with his beloved wife Diala, and two boys, Talal and Zade.
